This book, August Macke – Tunisian Watercolors and Drawings contains the work done by the contemporary German artist just before the outbreak of World War I. This first edition copy contains detachable reproductions of Macke’s work along with 2 slip-in frames.
This hardcover book is used and is in good condition. This white cloth-covered book has guilt lettering on the black cloth-covered spine. The book has some black marking across lower edge of front and back cover. This book comes with a see through dust jacket. The jacket has a tear at the upper right had corner and a small fold at the lower corner. The front free endpaper shows evidence of an erasure. The back free endpaper is slightly tanned at the edges and has a small crease in the lower right corner. The interior is clean and unmarked.
This book contains 55 pages and includes several illustrations with 16 removable plates in full color and 2 slip-in frames. Included also are writings by August Macke, Gunter Busch, Walter Holzhausen and Paul Klee.
