This used book is beautifully illustrated in color and black and white with many full color and full page reproductions. The front endpaper has a copy of one of the sketches Delacroix made for his composition Death of Sardanapalus. The back endpaper is a reproduction of a watercolor of Delacroix’s studio.

This hardcover book comes with a slipcase. The slipcase shows a detail of Delacroix’s painting of a Turkish horseman.

This book is used but in like-new good condition. There is a small crease on the front of the book at the top right edge. This hardcover book is clean, crisp and the interior is unmarked. The slipcase is also in very good condition.
